Updated version of the Fire King/Dogmatika hybrid with a bit more money thrown behind it.
COMBOS:
Your main combo is through Ponix Normal Summon. NS Ponix -> Get Sanctuary -> Sanctuary gets Island -> Use Island to pop Ponix and get Garunix -> SS Garunix -> Send Barong to GY with Garunix -> Pass turn -> Standby, CL1 Barong search Kirin, CL2 add Ponix back to hand -> SS Kirin by popping Ponix.
Dogmatika cards can be used to get to Ponix with just Nadir Servant.
Nadir Servant -> Send Garura to GY and grab Maximus -> SS Maximus by banishing Garura -> use Maximus effect for Shuraig and (usually) Titaniklad -> Get Ponix with Shuraig effect --> (bonus) get Fleurdelis/Ecclesia with Titaniklad effect at EOT
CARD CHOICES:
Main Deck:
Fire King Engine: 3x Ponix, 2x Garunix, 3x Kirin, 3x Arvata, 1x Rangbali, 1x Barong, 2x Sanctuary, 2x Island, 1x Circle, 1x Sky Burn, 2x Tenki. The essential core of the deck, pretty much the standard ratios seen elsewhere. (moved Sanctuary to 2 to fit in Circle as it helps in grindier games).
Dogmatika Engine: 3x Nadir Servant, 1x Maximus, 1x Fleurdelis, 1x Ecclesia, 1x Punishment. Another engine to get out Ponix. Fleurdelis not as essential but its a nice other interrupt plus beat stick. Ecclesia is nice too to grab punishment and free SS. Punishment is a good value card thanks to the extra deck space.
Handtraps: 3x Ash Blossom, 3x Droll, 3x Effect Veiler, 3x Imperm. These are pretty flexible and you can switch in Nibiru to MD if you like or drop some for Pot of Prosperity.
Other: 1x One For One, 1x Called By The Grave. 1f1 is great for grabbing ponix and Called By is an all around great card.
Extra Deck:
2x Garunix Eternity. The main interruption to play on your opponents turn based off your main combo line.
1x Garura, 1x Shuraig. The bare essentials for the Dogmatika package.
1x Titaniklad, 1x N'tss, 1x Bucephalus II, 1x Malong. Other good cards to use with Dogmatika. Bucephalus lets you still get your searches if you already have Maximus in hand.
1x Hiita, 1x Promethean Princess, 1x Amblowhale. Great alternate line to go into. Can hard punish an opponents mistimed Ash Blossom.
1x Dingirsu. Deck plays level 8s so a rank 8 fits here, could also be Hope Harbinger. This one is just good non target, non destruction removal. And can protect your board ($$$ option: TY-PHON)
1x Anima. We play a key level 1 and Anima can really catch people off guard.
1x Unicorn. Just generically good removal.
1x Ferrijit. Good with Dogmatika for extra card draw and can also be link summoned in a pinch.
Overall most of the ED is pretty flexible. Can use I:P or Accesscode lines if you like
Side Deck
3x D.D. Crow. Great graveyard removal plus is searchable thanks to the Tri-Brigade cards
3x Nibiru. Good for special summon spam decks
1x Feather Duster, 2x Lightning Storm - premium spell & trap removal
3x Evenly Matched - one of my favorite board breakers (Dark Hole is also a spicy option)
3x Ghost Ogre - how you deal with Tenpai Dragon
