I think that Fiendsmith as an archetype is pretty cool. I know that currently, some people aren’t seeing it more than a 1-card combo without using your Normal Summon that gets you a D/D/D Wave High King Caesar onto your field for 2 Solemn Warning effects. But to me, while I still think that is very powerful, it either just serves to protect you against Nibiru or it just adds on 2 more interruptions on a board that already had enough interaction to run your opponent out of resources without the inclusion of Caesar. Fiendsmith has 1 Level 9 monster in Fiendsmith Dies Irae who is a Level 9 LIGHT Fiend Fusion Monster that requires The Fiendsmith and 2 LIGHT Fiends as Fusion Material. It can Quick Effect negate the effects of face-up cards on the field until the end of the turn up to the total Link Rating of the Link Monsters equipped to it and if it is sent to the GY, you can shuffle 1 other LIGHT Fiend from your GY into the Deck or Extra Deck to target and send a card on the field to the GY. Putting together Fiendsmith and Prediction Princess seemed incredibly weird to me even though I’ve created worse variants like Code Talker Prediction Princess. On one hand, you could just play the Fiendsmith engine to get to Dies Irae and have no other usage for the engine outside of that. On the other hand, you could actually play Fiendsmith Prediction Princess, using the Fiendsmith cards for more than just getting to a Level 9. And to be fair, there is a lot that I want to do with Fiendsmith because Prediction Princess gives you access to cards like Mereologic Aggregator and Sacred Tree Beast Hyperyton who have some unique interactions with the Fiendsmith Fusion and Link Monsters. And I think that I have managed to make that work with this Decklist here. So, for our combo, we need The Fiendsmith, World Legacy Monstrosity, and any way to get another monster onto our field like a Normal Summon or a free Summon. Let’s say that will be us Normal Summoning Ash Blossom. We are going through a similar combo that you may have already seen people using to go from 1 The Fiendsmith into Wave High King Caesar, but we are going to be tweaking it at the end to transition us into Dies Irae instead. Activate The Fiendsmith to discard itself to search Fiendsmith Sanctus. Activate Fiendsmith Sanctus to Summon a Fiendsmith Token. Link that Token into Fiendsmith Requiem. Requiem Tributes itself to Special Summon another The Fiendsmith from Deck. Activate your other The Fiendsmith in GY to shuffle Fiendsmith Requiem from GY into Extra Deck to Special Summon itself from GY. Link your 2 The Fiendsmiths into Moon of the Closed Sky. Normal Summon Ash Blossom and then Link Ash and Moon of the Closed Sky into Fiendsmith Sequentia. Sequentia activates its effect to shuffle both The Fiendsmiths and Moon of the Closed Sky into Deck/Extra Deck to Fusion Summon Fiendsmith Dies Irae. Activate Monstrosity targeting Dies Irae to Special Summon Prediction Princess Bibliomuse and Deus-X Krawler from Deck. Xyz Deus-X and Dies Irae into Mereologic Aggregator to send Herald of the Arc Light from Extra Deck. And it is the same song and dance from there on. While it was weird to me at first, looking at it now, Fiendsmith is not too bad with Prediction Princess. On one hand, if you do draw Monstrosity, you are able to go through the Aggregator line to get your Ritual components. On the other, because the Fiendsmith engine is pretty small for all things considered and because it doesn’t require a Normal Summon, you can play Diviner of the Herald to get more Ritual searches from sending Herald of the Arc Light while also playing a decent amount of non-engine. You could also decide to play things like Pre-Preparation of Rites and Prediction Ritual to have more access to your Ritual stuff if you value that over more non-engine. And of course, don’t forget that you can still do Fiendsmith plays to get to Wave High King Caesar to either protect yourself against Nibiru or to use as interruption when you draw the stuff you need for your Prediction Princess plays already. This Deck doesn’t show off the potential of Fiendsmith Prediction Princess as much as it displays the power of Fiendsmith as a 1-card combo enabler. While I still think that Fiendsmith Prediction Princess is good, it just requires you to make the decision between playing more engine or more non-engine to either see more of your Prediction Princess cards or to have more options for interruption, especially for going second.
For the monsters: 3 Prediction Princess Tarotrei, 1 Prediction Princess Tarotreith, and 3 Prediction Princess Bibliomuse. Tarotrei is a Quick Effect to flip a monster face-up or face-down and during the End Phase, she can Special Summon a Flip Monster from hand or GY face-down. Tarotreith can either be Ritual Summoned or Special Summoned via Tarotrei’s End Phase effect. On flip, she can Special Summon a Flip Monster from your Deck face-down and she can Quick Effect flip any number of your monsters either face-up or face-down. Bibliomuse can Special Summon herself back from GY face-down if she was tributed and sent there. On flip, she can add a Prediction Princess monster other than herself and a Ritual Spell from Deck to hand, and while she’s face-up on field, your Ritual Monsters gain targeting and destruction protection from your opponent’s effects. For our Flips, we have 1 Deus-X Krawler and 1 Pot of the Forbidden. Deus-X negates all activated monster effects on your opponent’s side of the field after it has been flipped face-up and if it is destroyed on field, you can search for a Level 9 monster with a different Type and Attribute than it from Deck. Pot of the Forbidden, on flip, allows you to draw 2 cards, return all Spell/Trap Cards on field to the hand, destroy all monsters your opponent controls, or look at your opponent’s hand and shuffle a card of your choice back into the Deck. 1 Trias Hierarchia which can be sent off of Diviner of the Herald and Summon itself back from GY by Tributing said Diviner. This card is more or less just a Level 9 monster you can access off of Diviner that you can target with Monstrosity to get Deus-X and Pot of the Forbidden from the Deck in a situation where you have Diviner but you don’t have The Fiendsmith. 3 The Fiendsmith. You can discard it to add a Fiendsmith Spell/Trap from your Deck to your hand, while it is on field, you can target a Fiendsmith equip card and a monster on the fiend and send both to the GY, and if it is in the Gy, you can shuffle 1 other LIGHT Fiend monster from your Gy into the Deck/Extra Deck to Special Summon this card. As you would pretty much already know, this card by itself is a 1-card Rank 6 Xyz Monster or it can allow you to go into a Fiendsmith Fusion Monster if you go for Fiendsmith Sequentia. 3 Diviner of the Herald. Because you don’t have a Normal Summon in the Fiendsmith engine, we can play this card to either get a Level 9 on field in Trias Hierarchia or you can use it as your Normal Summonable monster which would then be used for Link Material during your Fiendsmith combo who can also get you a Ritual Spell or Ritual Monster by sending Herald of the Arc Light to GY on Summon. And for the rest of the monsters, 3 Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring and 3 Effect Veiler. Again, you could cut any number of these to play more engine pieces in Pre-Preparation of Rites and Prediction Ritual.
Spell/Traps: 1 Fiendsmith Sanctus and 3 Fiendsmith Tractus. Tractus Special Summons a Fiendsmith Token (Fiend/LIGHT/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0) if you control no face-up monsters or if all monsters you control are LIGHT Fiend monsters while also locking you into attacking with Fiends for the rest of the turn. Tractus is the card that you always want to search off of The Fiendsmith. The Token it Summons allows you to Link it off into Fiendsmith Requiem who then Tributes itself to get another The Fiendsmith from Deck onto Field while also putting itself into the GY for your other The Fiendsmith in GY to shuffle back to Special Summon itself, putting 2 Level 6’s onto the field. Even so, this card is not a brick that you want to keep in your Deck at all times. If you draw it, it is completely fine as you can just grab Tractus from Deck with The Fiendsmith. But you just need the 1. Its GY effect is not really relevant as I don’t see us meeting the activation requirements for Sanctus past the start of your Turn 1. Tractus searches a LIGHT Fiend and then makes you discard a card. And you can also banish it from GY to Fusion Summon a Fiendsmith Fusion using monsters from your field. Other than being an incredible card for Fabled, this basically just is 3 more copies of The Fiendsmith which is great. 3 Underworld Ritual of Prediction which Ritual Summons a Prediction Princess Ritual Monster from hand or GY face-up or face-down and you can banish it from GY during the Standby Phase to Special Summon a non-Ritual Prediction Princess from Deck face-down. 1 Instant Fusion for Master of Ham. 3 Pot of Prosperity. 3 World Legacy Monstrosity which can either Special Summon a Level 9 monster from your hand or target a Level 9 monster you control to Special Summon 2 Level 9 monsters from your Deck with a different type and Attribute, but with different names. And finally, 1 Called By the Grave and 3 Infinite Impermanence.
Extra Deck: 2 Fiendsmith Dies Irae. 1 Master of Ham which Special Summons a Flip Monster from hand or Deck on Fusion Summon. 2 Herald of the Arc Light which searches for a Ritual Monster or Ritual Spell if sent to the GY. 1 Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder. 2 Mereologic Aggregator. On Xyz Summon, it can send a monster from your Extra Deck to the GY and you can target any number of monsters in your GY up to the number of Xyz Materials it has, detach the same number of Xyz Materials, and attach the targets in GY to it as material. Something to note about Aggregator’s first effect is that it can trigger the GY effects of the Fiendsmith Fusion Monsters as they have an effect that activates when sent to GY. Dies Irae shuffles another LIGHT Fiend in GY into Deck/Extra Deck and targets and sends a card on the field to the GY. Fiendsmith Lacrimosa shuffles 1 other LIGHT Fiend in GY into Deck/Extra Deck to inflict 1200 damage to your opponent. It can also send a Fiendsmith Link to allow it to equip itself from GY to a Fiendsmith monster you control, but that is less value than what you can accomplish with Essentially, on a following turn, you can go for another Aggregator to send Dies Irae from Extra Deck to GY and then have the ability to target and send a card on field to GY. But this also works when Aggregator reattaches Dies Irae from GY and is sent to GY as well. The same goes for Sacred Tree Beast Hyperyton’s negation effect, but we aren’t playing it for the sake of space. 1 Laevateinn, Generaider Boss of Shadows and 1 Jormungandr, Generaider Boss of Eternity. Laevateinn tributing itself also sends a Dies Irae it has as material to GY which can also be used to trigger its effect. 1 D/D/D Wave High King Caesar which when a Spell/Trap Card or monster effect is activated that includes an effect that Special Summons a monster, you can detach a material to negate the activation and destroy that card with this effect not being once per turn. I have played with this card in Sharks alongside Xyz Revive Splash in the past, but with the Fiendsmith cards, summoning it in any Deck is a breeze. 1 S:P Little Knight. 1 Moon of the Closed Sky. This is not necessary as you could just play the second copy of Sequentia instead since we just need a second Link-2 Light Fiend in our Extra Deck. Speaking of, 1 Fiendsmith Sequentia which requires 2 monsters including a LIGHT Fiend as material and during your Mani Phase, you can Fusion Summon a Fiend monster from your Extra Deck by shuffling the materials from your GY into the Deck. Its other effect is not necessary in this Deck. Finally, 1 Fiendsmith Requiem which is a Link-1 that requires a LIGHT Fiend as material and you can Quick Effect tribute it during the Main Phase to Special Summon a Fiendsmith monster from hand or Deck.
Side Deck: 3 Nibiru, the Primal Being, 2 Gizmek Kaku, the Supreme Shining Sky Stag, 1 Droll & Lock Bird, 3 Crossout Designator, 3 Dark Ruler No More, and 3 Evenly Matched.
