Fabled Fiendsmith 2025 - Post BOL: TR

This deck takes a new approach to Fabled and utilizes the new Fabled support along with the Fiendsmith strategy in order to control the game by looping their new boss monster, Fabledswarm Leverzebul.

Leverzebul has the ability to steal your opponents' monsters without targeting. But most notably, he is a soft once per turn. This means that you can loop his effect by constantly reviving him with Fiendsmith's Agnumday, Lacrima the Crimson Tears, Fabled Treason, and A Bao A Qu, the Lightless Shadow. This will usually be supported with combos and interruptions offered by the Fiendsmith and Unchained monsters.

So we know what the deck is aiming to accomplish, but how is it being facilitated? In this deck, the Fableds and its tutors take advantage of the fotrunate typing and attribute of their monsters to support a Fiendsmith control/Fiend link style deck. The best method of doing this is to make Fabled Gamygyn, which gets you the full Fiendsmith Fabled combo by itself.

You will be typically trying to turbo this out using Rescue Cat, The Fabled Behillmoth with another level 2, or through certain combo lines using Tour Guide From the Underworld. If you are unable to find this card, you will most likely not be making Leverzebul and will focus on the other engines within your deck.

These cards are your best starters, and all of them unlock something very unique that Fabled has not had before now: linear 1(.5) card combos! Any of the aforementioned starters will end you on a board of an untargetable Leverzebul, A Bao, Treason, and Abominable Chamber, with Lacrima able to revive the Agnumday in the GY. 

Due to this more modern approach of deckbuilding, the deck can fit 9-12 slots of non-engine. This obviously isn't a lot, but it's a big improvement from the previous 0-3 slots that were available.

There is a lot of potential for the future of Fabled when it's able to take full advantage of an engine as powerful as Fiendsmith. Good luck going X-2 at locals!
