Evil Eye is a control Deck focusing on the Equip Spell Evil Eye of Selene being equipped to your Main Deck or Link monsters granting them effects or enabling your backrow.
Evil Eye and its Watchers:
Serziel, Watcher of the Evil Eye is the Deck's main starter, an Aleister like, adding an archetypal card on Normal Summon. If he is equipped with the Evil Eye of Selene he can pop 1 Special Summoned monster in your opponent's board, this, whoever comes with a cost. During the next Standby Phase you must destroy 1 card you control. Usually you will be destroying Evil Eye Domain - Pareidolia which will recycle an Evil Eye on destruction, on activation it Reinforcement of the Army one of your monsters. It does have a niche effect on battle but it doesnt come up.
Serziel will be adding 90% of the time Evil Eyes Unleashed which sends 1 Evil Eye monster and Spell/Trap for cost, before adding an Equip. The best cards to send are Basiltrice, Familiar of the Evil Eye and Evil Eye of Gorgoneio while adding Evil Eye of Selene. Unleashed's GY effect re-equips your Eyes when you Link summon an Evil-Eye Link making them live the moment you get them out.
Basiltrice, Familiar of the Evil Eye can summon itself from your Hand or GY if you control an Evil Eye monster during either player's turn, it does Banish itself after leaving the field, if you are confident enough on your skill you can just run 1 copy of it. Basiltrice can during your opponent's turn quick-effect Link summon an Evil Eye using monsters or the Equip Spells meaning you can jump from one Link to another and having them go live the moment you summon them cause of Unleashed.
Evil Eye of Selene the centerpiece of the Deck, it makes the equipped monster a Towers preventing targeting or destruction via battle, activating the effect of the equipped monster or another Evil Eye Spell/Trap causes it to burn you for 500LP and making the equipped monster gain 500ATK, this effect is not once per turn. Its GY effect allows you to banish any Evil Eye backrow to set itself on the field. While Evil Eye of Gorgoneio (treated as Evil Eye of Selene) makes the monster gain the difference between the player and the opponent's LP. You are mostly putting it in the GY which allows you to Banish it and discard 1 Evil Eye to add any in-Archetype backrow, the discard faciliatates Catoblepas or Basiltrice's effect.
as for the other backrow Evil Eye Awakening Monster Reborns an Evil Eye or if you control Eye of Selene E-telis them which allows for extension or putting more pressure up with Serziel. Evil Eye Confrontation destroys a singular Spell/Trap, if you control any of your Eyes it will Banish it instead. Evil Eye Defeat without the Eye is a Compulsory Escape Device and with the Eye it bounces 2 monsters instead. The best one is Evil Eye Retribution which is a Spell/Trap negate that cannot be negated if you control the Eyes.
Rulers of the Wicked Eyes:
Gorgon, Empress of the Evil Eyed is the best one, letting you negate a monster when equipped with the Evil Eye of Selene, like Serziel she has a mandatory effect if you used the negate, it blows up all monsters she points to, which is less harsh than Serziel's. She also gains 100ATK for every differently named Evil Eye card in your grave.
Zerrziel, Ruler of the Evil Eyed gains multiple attacks if you Link summoned it using a 2600ATK monster, if equipped with the Evil Eye of Selene it pops a card your opponent controls, if you blew up a card you must negate 1 card it points to, which is uh... worse than Gorgon really which is why you dont run more than 1 of this guy.
Staples and such:
Kashtira Fenrir is here to help breaking boards going second and baiting Ash Blossom happy people, it also allows you to troll Kashtira players if they used Kashtira Shangri-Ira's Effect allowing you to go into Ariseheart and going into Zeus. Same goes for Pankratops allowing you to remove Floodgates and such.
Droll & Lock Bird beats or cripples most of the Deck in the format Purrely, Kashtira, Chimera, R-ace, Mannadium and D-Link to name a few.
Pareidolia searches Serziel > Serziel Normal Summon add Unleashed > Unleashed sends Basiltrice and Gorgoneo adding Selene > Gorgoneo banishes itself discarding Selene to add Retribution > Next turn summon back Basil summoning Gorgon which triggers Unleashed to equip her with Eye. Some other lines allow you to have Serziel and Unleashed in the GY at the same time which gives 3 disruptions.
Now go forth and fight for the Eye who observes this mortal coil and beyond!
