*I have updated this list pretty significantly since I initially posted it 3 months prior. The general game-plan is much the same (so the tips below are still valid), but I feel the current list is a bit more appropriate for actual competitive play.
This deck is designed to have a great deal of versatility whether going first or second, although ideally you will go first.
Going first your goal is to get Eldlich on the field backed by some backrow, as well as to hopefully get the Dogmatika Saint on the field with Fleur in hand and Punishment set. To accomplish this, Nadir lets you mill the ******* dragon to search out Saint, who you then normal summon to search Punishment. In the end phase, ******* triggers to get you Fleur in hand, allowing you to set up multiple disruptions with a single card at no cost. Eldlich is then either searched, milled or summoned off of Black Awakening to make your Golden Land traps live. If you can't get Eldlich out instantly, sitting on Scarlet Sanguine is acceptable since you can just summon Eldlich instantly on your opponent's turn with that anyway. In order to make the best use of Scarlet Sanguine and a Golden Land trap, be sure to chain Scarlet Sanguine to the desired Golden Land (for instance, activate Conquistador
then Scarlet, thus making Conquistador's "destroy a face-up card" effect live on resolution). Going first is ideal since the deck is largely trap-based, but thanks to Eldlich's hand effect and the board-breaking utility of Dogmatika, going second is also a solid option for the deck even without siding.
For going second, getting Eldlich into your hand is a priority since he sets up your GY while also removing threats. Nadir allows you to both pop a card with N'tss and search out Saint, who searches out Fleur for additional negation and beatdown power. Impermanence is present to serve as a potential disruption during turn 1 and can be replaced with basically any hand trap, but the utility of Impermanence makes it stronger against the plethora of Ash Blossom-resistant decks that now exist. Thanks to Eldlich being a level 10, you also have fairly easy access to notable Rank 10s such as Gustav Max and Liebe to help with OTKing (though be aware Disciple and Saint lock you out of the Extra Deck for the turn after you use them).
All in all this deck has incredible resource management, solid disruption and good damage output. Thanks to Eldlich the deck is overall quite resistant to hand traps and board wipes. The Dogmatika engine is a bit more fragile, but offers additional disruption for essentially no cost and helps tremendously with board-breaking and OTKing.
