This Deck's concept is very simple: Summoning an
Egyptian God should be a problem for your opponent, in particular if this God cannot be taken down by effects. The most annoying problem of Egyptian Gods is that their Summon is quite slow, as you need 3 monsters to Tribute: this can be resolved with some not so new cards and combos.
Main combo families:
- Super Quantum is the newest tactic I added into this Deck for its easy-to-use and Cyber Dragon-alike style: since Red Layer and Blue Layer can recall each other from Deck or GY, they make really very easy for us to gain the 3 monsters we need to Summon an Egyptian God; in addition, there are many XYZs to Summon if you - for example - don't have any Egyptian God in your hand or that Summon wouldn't be so useful for the play.
- Quickdraw Synchron, Level Eater & Inferno Reckless Summon are an old-school set that fulls your board with monsters you can use to Synchro Summon some of the classic Yusei Fudo's heroes or to Summon an Egyptian God.
- Nimble Momonga & Giant Rat are a good defensive strategy if you stuck in a bad situation and you run out of Traps or powerful monsters.
- Hardened Armed Dragon & Mound of the Bound Creator are to support cards that power up your Egyptian Gods so that they become unaffected by card effects.
The Extra Deck is often used as a
plan B, so it contains very strong and bossy XYZs and, on the other hand, some good Synchros; to be honest, I've never actually tested the Link monsters in the Side, but I'm confident those are quite good.
