Flamvell Firedog is just about my favorite Yu-Gi-Oh card of all time. Probably because I gave away my cards when I was younger (only had a few somewhat expensive cards, nothing too crazy) and it's one of the few cards I still have from my childhood. So a deck using Flamvell Firedog was the first Edison deck I submitted on this site. It was heavily inspired by another deck (I think/hope I mentioned that. Edit: Yeah I did, at the end) and so is this one. I made a few changes but after a quite gimmicky deck last time I'm happy to say that I think this deck really does it. It's pretty much Diva HERO. It's consistent, has many strong plays and a Spell Card that is way too broken. If you want endorphins, this is how you get them.
The plan this time is to mill Flamvell monsters with Ryke, Charge and Card Trooper, still with the intent to Normal Summon Firedog to destroy a monster and trigger its effect. Book of Moon is a fantastic, universal tool to help you with that.
Now every deck I've ever seen plays 3 Flamvell Magician and I never unterstood why. I still don't so I cut it down to two copies. I brick on it much less and it just feels so much better. Occasionally you won't be able to trigger Firedog but who cares, that just means your GY is stacked.
The Gravekeeper cards help with your board presence, are a removal tool and all have the DARK attribute. This makes summoning Chaos Sorcerer and Dark Armed Dragon quite easy.
