I never liked the deck Bakura had in the anime, so I tried remaking his deck while keeping some of the iconic cards he used.
In the original duel, Bakura played a shadow game where Yugi's friends were their favorite cards. The duel is super short and anticlimactic. Not to mention that Ryou Bakura cheated by not following the effect of Change of Heart (didn’t take control of the opponent's monster).
In a reimagined duel, I would have the rules of the shadow game stay the same but focus more on tormenting Yugi using cards like: Change of Heart, Possessed Dark Soul, Creature Swap, Monster Reborn, and Exchange. Bakura would take control of Yugi’s friends and Yugi would have to decide between destroying his friends or losing the duel.
Bakura’s reimagined deck focuses on Spirits that come back to the hand at the end of turn. Fully utilizing the psychological torment of making Yugi attack his friends and referencing his dark past. The spirits of Kul Elna still fuel his malice that empowers Zorc.
Had to include cards that originally existed outside of Duelist kingdom but wanted to keep the decks fairly simple.
