My approach on what I believe to be a fun competent control deck going first and second.
With the addition of Dogmatikamatrix, the deck has gained an extremely powerful tool for going first and second allowing you to +2 or even +3 depending on the scenario at hand. Compared to other lists, I have decided to cut Diviner for deck space and opted to play triple Ultimate Slayer instead.
Ultimate Slayer allows you to not only get rid of your opponent's pesky monsters (like Rulkallos and whatnot) as well as give you the opportunity to opt into a multitude of plays with your extra deck monsters and its unfounded "Once per Turn" clause allows you to capitalize off Maxx C by utilizing it multiple times, whereas Diviner would simply be rotting in your hand.
The main downside to not playing Diviner would be your innability to go for the Maxiimus line easily with Almiraj and Secura Gardna, however since your normal summon is not spent on Diviner, you may make use of Cartesia which allows you to go into Granguignol during yours or your opponent's Main Phase. And although not optimal, normal summoning Ecclesia is also a choice.
Since this deck does not have a high need for the Extra Deck, playing triple Super Polymerization feels only natural and with the arrival of Garura, the -1 required to activate it will feel trivial. The Bystials are obviously strong monsters specially in a meta dominated by Tearlaments and the synergy this deck has with Regained may allow you to get the follow-up much needed for this "ritual" deck. Also use Alba Zoa's effect at your own discretion, unless you are sure of what your opponent is playing activating his effect may end up losing you the game.
