Dinosaur went from being a going-second aggro-combo OTK deck to a going-first combo deck that sets up a respectable number of negates and interaction after the release of Pot of Prosperity.
With the limiting of
Miscellaneousaurus, the deck lost a lot of its overwhelming consistency, but lost absolutely none of its explosivity. The "Scrap" package of 2
Scrap Raptor (a Dinosaur monster, which can be summoned off of
Babycerasaurus) and 1
Scrap Chimera allows for a turn-1 3-material
Apollousa, Bow of the Goddess, a 2-negate
Borelload Savage Dragon,
and a
PSY-Framelord Omega to simultaneously recycle your Misc into the GY to allow for follow-up on turn 3 and ripping a card from your opponent's hand for a turn, allows for great turn-1 set-ups and keeping your opponent off-kilter for long enough to get back to your turn, and go in for the kill. Plus, you still get to summon your
Ultimate Conductor Tyranno in the midst of all of this combo goodness!
The deck is incredibly powerful, albeit quite expensive, and a little bricky for the current format. Still, it's a great choice for people who think their fellow duelists aren't ready for the power of DINO DNA, BABY!
