Witchcrafter has gotten a lot of a lot of good synergistic cards over the years. Magicians' Souls sends any Level 6 or higher Witchcrafter from Deck which makes it able to be brought back by Holiday and it can send up to 2 Witchcrafter Spells to draw the same amount where said cards are added back during the End Phase. Witchcrafter Vice-Madame is basically one of the craziest cards ever printed, fitting perfectly into its archetype's strategy with 3 very relevant effects that can be activated on either player's turn. Blazing Cartesia is able to easily facilitate Vice-Madame as well as giving you the option of doing Granguignol plays. And now, we have the new Diabellestarr and Tainted Treasure cards which give the deck more choices and variety in interruption as well as giving access to a semi-recursive body with searches.
For monsters: 1 Witchcrafter Madame Verre who boosts your Spellcasters by 1000 for every Spell in your hand and is a quick effect Dark Ruler on legs by discarding a Spell. You only need 1 because all of your small Witchcrafters basically E-Tele another Witchcrafter from Deck, which are then supported by Vice-Madame who can E-Tele the small Witchcrafters from Deck. It is hard to get her out of your hand if you draw her, so playing just the 1 to get her from Deck is optimal. 2 Witchcrafter Haine who gives all other Spellcasters Targeting protection and she can Quick Effect pop a face-up card by discarding 1 Spell. It is also difficult to get her out of your hand if you draw her, but you will usually going through multiple copies of her from Deck. So, 2 copies is good. 3 Witchcrafter Schmietta who can Tribute itself and discard a Spell to Summon a Witchcrafter from Deck and can banish herself from GY to send a Witchcrafter card from Deck. This allows you to send any name to summon it back off of Holiday or it can help to get a Witchcrafter Spell into rotation. 3 Blazing Cartesia, the Virtuous who is a Quick Effect Fusion from hand and/or field and can add herself back during the End Phase if a Fusion was sent to GY that turn. With her being a Spellcaster, she and a Witchcrafter name makes Vice-Madame, she can make Granguignol with a LIGHT or DARK and because she's listed on it you can get her off of Fusion Deployment, and she is a Tuner which gives you Synchro options like Omega or PEP. 1 Witchcrafter Pittore who has the usual "Summon a Witchcrafter from Deck by Tributing and discarding a Spell" effect and she can banish herself from GY to draw a card and discard a Witchcrafter card. 1 Witchcrafter Genni who has the Summon from Deck effect and banish herself and a Witchcrafter Spell from GY to apply the banished Spell's effect. You only need 1 because you will easily brick on this card if you play more than 1 as you want to draw more Spells than monsters if possible. 2 Diabellestarr the Dark Witch which is an inherent Summon from hand by sending 1 other card from hand or field to GY. If its is Summoned: it can set a Tainted Treasure Spell/Trap from Deck, then, if it is sent from hand or field to GY on your opponent's turn, it can Summon itself back. The send can be a Witchcrafter Spell, with you being able to add it back during the End Phase, the set from Deck sets up interruption, and you can easily send it to GY on your opponent's turn via Silvia or Cartesia.
For Spell/Traps: 3 Fusion Deployment to get Cartesia by revealing Granguignol. 1 Triple Tactics Thrust and 2 Triple Tactics Talent. 3 Witchcrafter Holiday which reborns a Witchcrafter from GY and can add itself back from GY during the End Phase, which is 1 effect per turn and only once that turn as all Witchcrafter Spells are. 1 Witchcrafter Creation which adds a Witchcrafter monster from Deck and can add itself back from GY during the End Phase. 2 Witchcrafter Confision Confession which Fusion Summons using a Witchcrafter and it can add itself back during the End Phase. You only need to play 2 because Cartesia is very accessible and is a Fusion Spell in of itself. 1 Witchcrafter Unveiling which Summons a Witchcrafter from hand and prevents your opponent crom repsonding to your Spellcaster monster effects for the rest of the turn and it adds itself back from GY during the End Phase. 1 Witchcrafter Draping which returns Spell/Traps your opponent controls to the hand up to the number of Witchcrafter monsters you control and it can add itself to hand back from GY during the End Phase. 1 Witchcrafter Bystreet which prevents your Witchcrafters from being destroyed the first time around each turn and it can send it from field to GY instead of discarding a Spell for a Witchcrafter Effect and during the End Phase, it can place itself face-up in your Spell/Trap Zone. 3 "The Tainted Treasure Hunter Fiend" which adds a Diabellestarr from Deck or GY. It also can banish itself to place a Tainted Treasure that's banished or in you GY other than itself on the bottom of the Deck and draw 1 card. 1 Tainted Treasure of Doom - Luciela which targets a Level 7 or higher Spellcaster you control to make it unaffected by monster effects for the turn and reduces the ATK of all face-up monsters your opponent controls by its ATK, then, if any monster has their ATK reduced to 0, they are destroyed. It's good for interruption as it is basically a board clear by itself in most situation if you target Diabellestarr or Vice-Madame. 1 Called by the Grave. 1 Tainted Treasure of Betrayal - Silvia which can send a Diabellestarr from hand or field to negate a face-up card on the field (which is permanent and not temporary) and it can banish itself to negate an opponent's effect that was activated in response to a Diabellestarr or Tainted Treasure card or effect. 1 Witchcrafter Patronus which shuffles a Spellcaster monster from GY or banished into Deck to add a Witchcrafter Spell from Deck to hand. Then, it can banish itself from GY to add any number of banished Witchcrafter Spells that are banished with different names to hand.
Extra Deck: 1 Despian Proskenion to summon off of Granguignol. 1 Guardian Chimera which can be made via Confusion Confession to pop cards or made with Cartesia during your opponent's turn for interruption. 2 Witchcrafter Vice-Madame which can be made with a Spellcaster and a Witchcrafter. When a Spell Card or effect or non-Fusion Spellcaster monster effect is activated, it can pop a card on field, Summon a Level 6 or lower Witchcrafter from hand or Deck, or it can add back a Witchcrafter Spell/Trap from GY. Each of these effects can be used in the same turn which makes this card incredible for extending plays, getting plays started, and interrupting your opponent. 1 Alba-Lenatus the Abyss Dragon which is here to send off of Granguignol to add a Fusion Spell from Deck during the End Phase because Witchcrafter ConFUSION Confession has Fusion in its name, meaning its searchable off of this card. 2 Granguignol the Dusk Dragon which can send a Level 6 or higher LIGHT or DARK from Deck or Extra Deck to GY when its Fusion Summoned. This can send Alba-Lenatus to search Confusion Confession for next turn, Omega to recycle a card, or Despian Luluwalilith to get Cartesia on the field during the End Phase. Then, when your opponent summons a monster by an activated monster effect, you can banish it from field or GY to Summon a Despia monster from Extra Deck which is going to be Proskenion. 1 Despian Luluwalilith which is actually Summonable since Cartesia is a Tuner, but you are usually just going to be sending it off of Granguignol to Summon Cartesia from Deck during the End Phase. 1 Psychic End Punisher because Cartesia is a Level 4 Tuner and Haine and Diabellestarr are Level 7's, so it can be made pretty easily. 1 PSY-Framelord Omega as another option to send off of Granguignol to recycle a card, but it can also be hard-made. 1 Accesscode Talker, 1 Selene, Queen of the Master Magicians, 1 Lyna the Light Charmer, Luminous, 1 Artemis, the Magistus Moon Maiden, and 1 Relinquished Anima.
