Diabellestarr Snake-Eye is the new deck coming in AGOV (Age of Overlord) giving us an interesting engine beeing Diabellestarr engine which can be put in every deck, giving you access to free monster negate, while also giving us an interesting series of level 1 fire monsters Snake-Eyes. Since this is a new deck, we will go over it's combos, over what it is good at and over it's weaknesses. Also, I will give you other options you can play in the deck.
Good things:
Deck can play bunch of hand traps, while also having space for second going cards. Since we are going to the format where people are playing more and more hand traps, this is very good, as you can run Droll, Nibiru and Ash or Veiler (whichever you preffer) while also having space for Lightning Storm, Triple Tactics, Called By etc. Making the deck be able to go second.
Also, deck is crazy consistent. Allthough it doesn't have a 1 card combo, it is still able to give you everything you need turn 1, while also giving you hand traps for more interruptions.
Deck also has crazy good recovery which is very important in a format where board breakers are popular.
Also, what is most important, deck is not completly reliable on normal summons. One for One, The Shrine of Serpentine Night - Snake-Eye and The Original Sinful Spoils - Snake-Eye give you ability to go through your combo without normal summoning once. Also, Diabellestarr is able to search you The Original Sinful Spoils - Snake-Eye for your combos and Terraforming can search you The Shrine of Serpentine Sight - Snake-Eye. And "The Sinful Spoirs Hunter Fiend" can search you Diabellestar. That is 14 different cards in the deck that allow you to play without normal summoning.
And of course, deck has crazy amount of follow up. This deck is probably a deck with most follow up out of all the decks that you can find. Worst scenario, you will have 3+ cards in your hand if your opponent does stop you on your turn.
But, of course there are weaknesses:
Ash can actually hurt you quite a bit, as you do need to use 2 resources for the effects of your level 1 Snake-Eye monsters.
If your opponent uses Nibiru after Snake-Eyes Flameberge Dragon uses his graveyard effect, it can hurt quite a bit. That is why you might want to summon Diabellestarr the Dark Witch last.
Floodgates like Gozen Match, There Can Be Only One, Skill Drain, Summon Limit etc. do kill this deck.
Now, there are some other main deck options. You can take out Triple Tactics for Crossout Designator (65681983) as you will need it to stop Ash and Nibiru.
You can also play Foolish Burial Goods (35726888). It can send to the gy "The Sinful Spoils Hunter Fiend", The Original Sinful Spoils - Snake-Eye or The Sinful Spoils of Betrayal - Silvia to give you their graveyard effects.
Hiita the Fire Charmer, Ablaze (48815792) is also a card you can consider as Infernoble Knight is running around.
You can also play Solemn cards like Solemn Strike, Solemn Scolding or Solemn Judgment as all of them are really good.
Also, the hand traps in the deck are my choices, it's on you to decide which hand traps you think are the best in the format.
Now, the combo:
For this combo you will need Terraforming, "The Sinful Spoils Hunter Fiend" and The Original Sinful Spoils - Snake-Eye
-You will activate Terraforming adding to your hand The Shrine of Serpentine Sight - Snake-Eye to your hand which you will activate and use it's effect to put in s/t zone Snake-Eye Excel
-Activate "The Sinful Spoils Hunter Fiend" and add Diabellestarr the Dark Witch to your hand.
-Activate The Original Sinful Spoils - Snake-Eye sending your Excel to the graveyard and special summoning Snake-Eye Oark which with it's effect will bring back the Excel which will then with it's effect add to your hand Snake-Eye Wight Birch which you can special summon
-You can now use "The Sinful Spoils Hunter Fiend"'s graveyard effect to put The Original Sinful Spoils - Snake-Eye to the bottom of your deck and draw 1 card
-Now you can special summon Diabellestarr the Dark Witch by sending your field spell to the graveyard and then when it's summoned you can use it's effect to set Sinful Spoils of Betrayal - Silvia to your s/t zone.
-Now you use effect of Snake-Eye Oark and send it and Wight Birch to the graveyard to summon from your deck Snake-Eyes Flameberge Dragon
-Now use Excel's effect sending it and Flameberge Dragon to the gy to summon another Flameberge Dragon. The reason why you do this is to use Flameberge Dragon's effect to revive Oark and Excel from your graveyard
-Now use Flameberge Dragon's effect to put in your s/t zone from your graveyard Wight Birch
-For the last for your turn you will use Excel and Oark to link summon I:P Masquerena
-In opponent's standby phase you can use Flameberge Dragon's effect to summon your Wight Birch, which can then use his effect to send himself and Flameberge Dragon to the graveyard to summon another Flameberge Dragon from your deck/hand
-Now Flameberge Dragon's effect in graveyard activates to summon you Excel and Oark, which will both trigger with Oark as chain link 1 and Excel as chain link 2, which will add you another Oark or Wight Birch from your deck to your hand, while reviving your Wight Birch from your graveyard
Your endboard with this combo is 5 cards in hand, omni negate and you can chose, do you want 3 negate Apollousa, Bow of the Goddess, do you want Knightmare Unicorn or you want Underworld Goddess of the Closed World. Important to note is that you want to leave on the field your Flameberge Dragon and either Oark or Excel as that is your formula for OTK on your next turn. Out of 5 cards you have in hand, you know that 1 is for follow up plays and other 4 can be hand traps, board breakers, follow up, Called By the Grave or anything else in your deck. Also, when you use your omni negate, while Diabellestarr does send 1 card from your hand to the graveyard, it immediatly can replace it with either another omni negate for your turn or another follow up card (either "The Sinful Spoils Hunter Fiend" or The Original Sinful Spoils - Snake-Eye) which is even more follow up.
While this deck isn't in top decks, 1 or 2 more cards can actually make this deck tier 1 if not tier 0 because of how crazy consistent and of how much follow up it can generate. I want this deck to become the top deck in one of the following formats, as it is crazy fun to play.
