Honestly, this is one of the cooler builds I thought up.
While there is a version that uses the stronger version of Jackal in a convoluted loop, no one uses the weaker but still pretty impressive Jackal Knight, which is a shame because he's a solid feature. His stats are decent for the time, he's splashable in beast decks, and his effect is crippling for many decks as he can snatch up their monsters when they are destroyed, meaning Chaos builds lose their typically splashable fodder for their bigger plays, most conventional meta builds can suffer if their combo pieces are missing, and any general flip monster can be stolen and then used by us via Book of Moon to turn their effects against them. It's a really great effect, especially when considering almost every major deck uses the Graveyard for multiple plays.
To help with the current meta of heavy backrow, we use Decree to disable general traps alongside Warwolf/Breaker and Jinzo. Equip cards like United or Baou either make our Jackal more beefy or bypass dangerous flip effects. Removal like Smashing/Vortex/Nobleman provide great coverage for threats that our high-stat beasts might have issues with.
Battle Ox gives our Jackal plays more oomf with additional piercing damage to boot, and Nimble is useful for baiting out removal or to establish field presence. Wild Nature is generally not played in Beastdown/beatdown decks due to most staple monsters having low DEF: a extra 600 or so isn't going to help much. Jackal has 1600, which combined with his already decent stats makes him a 3000+ wrecking ball that can run over practially everything. We can also use Moon to bypass the destruction effect if need be. My Body as a Shield helps with field nukes and/or attempts to clean the field nicely.
Finally we have conventional cards like D.D. Assailant and Reaper; mostly here just to stall potential plays out if required but can be used aggressively as well. The side deck is focused around specific counters (Asura/Panda/Controller for Goat Control, Wombat/Wok for burn, etc) additional tech like Manticore as a alternative boss monster or Trunade to further wipe out backrow troubles. Easy done.
