The main goal of the deck is to see atleast clockwork night and one cyber dragon. However if you do see clockwork and rivalry and your opponent has no spell or traps to remove it, you basically auto win. Once these two cards are on the field together your opponent gets one summon then they are locked into machines, if they don't already have mosnters on the board. If they do already have mosnters than they immediately are locked out of playing anything except machine monsters which about 1% of decks can play through. If they do have any sort of removal for your floodgates you should already have an Omni negate set up if not two of them, seeing as you consistently see the combo pieces to either make infinity turn one or regulis turn one.
The reason why this deck is the most versatile and best for every match up, is because any cyber dragon + clockwork = contact fuse of your opponent's entire board. I have successfully contact fused a full 6 card tear board on turn two with literally two cards, putting my fortress dragon at 7500 atk and needing one more decent size monster to win the game. Also the combination of floodgates I have chosen has made it almost impossible for any deck to play except for mine.
