I buy alot of structure decks and recently became interested in Skystrikers, though some of the cards are a bit more than I'm willing to pay (*cough* afterburners,area zero *cough* linkage *cough*), so I thought about meshing them with something else I had lying about.
Introducing....Crystal Strikers! Theory was, Crystal beasts also use a lot of spells, which help trigger the second effect of your sky strikers, they also have a lot of good trap cards for countering the opponent, and as well as, can be *crystalised* to empty your main monster zone, to use sky striker spells. Also, helps for making bagooska if needed, and , since you mainly use links...you see what I mean.
Flaws; You have to run the brick of rainbowdragon, which, if you watched the replay , you know. Salvations never really came up, despite running goods(both for dumping engage turn 1 or salvations) This deck isn't exactly the MOST EFFICIENT it could be, but I thought I would do some tests to see, what works and what dosen't.
I might try tune it to what I can actually build for a reasonable price, but I figured I'd push the idea out there to see if anyone else wants to adapt it.
Take the Concept, not the deck...unless you want to lose.
