I've been testing and experimenting online with this archetype for about a week now. This is the final result with equimax being the most expensive card in this list. If you have any suggestions or questions about combos/synergies hmu!
Here are some of my thoughts on the cards and ratios I chose:
Black Garden: Super good addition to the deck since it solves the problem of your opponent passing with an empty field. Just remember to switch to the other fieldspell before summoning equimax or else you miss out on some damage. It is also the main reason why I chose to go with 3 Arboria and Maximus. When starting your plays just start off with Garden, and then normal summon Maximus and link up. Then pop the garden to get him right back and trigger the search. Same with Arboria but after the NS.
-Iblee Package: A double edged sword sure but a strong first turn play if you know it'll hinder your opponent. Also provides an attack target for Equimax. The combo is fairly easy: NS any Crusadia Monster, link it, summon a second one to get the search, link into Knightmare Flamingo (pop a spell if you have the ressources), link into Mermaid and discard for Iblee, Link into Underclock Taker to summon Iblee on their side. Now you even can summon any Crusadia to a Zone UT points to to go directly into Equimax.
Instant Fusion: Great for summoning to a link marker to get off any effects of your Crusadia Links. Thousend Eyes can get rid of any monster (even face-down ones) or Milennium Eyes can protect your search effects from being hand trapped.
Sky Striker Drones: Basically same as IF but results in an extra token for link plays.
Linkuriboh: Can be used on any of the restricts or the SS token or Effect Veiler in some fringe cases.
Gagaga Cowboy: Doesnt come up too often but has won me some games.
FA Dawn Dragster: Great first turn play and not that hard to pull off since Arboria is a Tuner. Keep in mind though that it wont boost your Crusadia Links since its original atk is 0.
Kaijus: Great addition to this deck. Gets rid of the bad guys that can negate your combo pieces and boosts your Equimax. If you place your and your opponents kaijus correctly, he even gets boosted twice. Can also trigger your Crusadia links if you summon your Kaiju on a linked zone.
Pot of desires: Great when fishing for combo extenders, only use it after you did your searches tho.
Crusadia Trap: The "Master Peace" of the deck. During your opponents turn you can tribute a Crusadia Monster to get Recursia. Pop the trap itself or the fieldspell and a monster for free.
Things I decided against playing because of preference or budget: -More handtraps: Budget killer no1 and I dont like them in a combo heavy deck. Yeah sure you can disrupt your opponent more but you also fuck your own hand over.
-Rescue Cat and Elephun for Naturia Beast: Too unsafe for my taste so you only really can use it with an Instant Fusion for restrict or Called by the Grave in hand. If this gets negated you have to basically pass Also it's pretty bad if you draw your tuner or multiple Cats. FA Dawn Dragster fit my playstyle much better and freed up so many spaces in the main deck.
More of the Sky Striker Engine: Budget Buster. Would definitely play 3 Engages if you have them.
