While I was getting immersed in God of War: Ragnarok, I was not emotionally prepared for the tragedy that would cement Odin's status as the biggest @$$hole in all the Nine Realms: the murder of Brok, and how it twisted Sindri into a broken, hateful shell of his former self. Since the brothers' debut in God of War 4, the rugged, foul-mouthed manly man and soft-spoken, germaphobic sensitive soul have wormed their way into our hearts. So it's no surprise that Brok's funeral scene made at least 10 people on every block cry their eyes out.
This is my tribute to Brok the dwarf, an Ishizu Runick deck. Both of the decks feature milling as key components of their overall strategy. While Runicks have Runick Fountain as their main recovery card, Ishizu's new Fairies have Mudora and Agido's retrains for both recursion and interruption of the opponent's plays. So combined with the Ishizu engine, Runick can deck the opponent out much sooner than expected. This deck doesn't use hand traps apart from Kelbek the Ancient Vanguard, so the ideal scenario is you going first.
Now before you download this deck profile, make sure to pour one out for our blue brother in arms. After God of War: Ragnarok proved itself to be one of the hallmarks of 2022 for gamers, I refuse to end the year before giving one final requiem for Brok.
May this deck profile win true. May it be played with wisdom. May it be sold on eBay when its job is done.
