Making the deck work with no walbaz under new banlist for my next tournament
Ratios might look weird, but there's a bit of logic to everything.
45 to reduce bricky hand configurations, but also max on engine options. 1 aluber because it's useless after searching brafu, but 3 opening to max getting to it and quem to threaten albaz on hands where you don't need/can't get to brafu or already have aluber + opening in hand - or quem + sanctifire to guarantee albaz will hit the field at some point on your opp's turn.
bystials because there's lots of branded, mitsu and striker locally - same reasoning for all the general grave hate.
1 Dissolver as an occasional extender that acts as both polymerization and a fusion material in hand (and a spellcaster for crowley)
1 Gulamel because you do need the third name and extra pop setup since you don't have walbaz. 2 traps with only 2 spells makes the recycling less awkward - no card "left behind" in grave in the grind.
Titaniklad because space is tight and it can at least out Lunalight, unlike Rindbrumm.
Fuwa feels weak this format and with this deck being as hit as it is now, I want game 1 hands to never ever be dead and fuwa can be often dead.
To that same logic around non-brickyness, magistus engine is as tight as can be to have lines be usable in multiple hand opening configurations, but also have a second search target in zoroa for when the lines get awkward if you open a crowley.
Deck still needs cards in hand, so having too many discarding/high resource cost breakers is too costly IMO - so droplet goes to 2 and in side, and super poly also. Crossout and talents are just for clutch/blowout/recovery but you could swap them with the droplets.
With no super poly targets and slower albaz-to-field timelines, super poly goes to side mostly for the branded matchup.
