The February 2025 banlist for Branded has been an absolute blessing to the strategy in terms of consistency! Saronir, Opening and Aluber are now all back to 3 when in the past, they were previously only at 1! Now all they have to do at Konami is make Branded Fusion 3 and Albaz is back to full power!
In my humble opinion, this makes Branded the current strongest fusion deck on ladder, able to go first making complex, multilayered interruptions. Going second, Branded has enough momentum, in-engine power and boardbreakers to plow through massive boards with multiple negates!
Albaz and friends are up next as Yugioh's featured anime character, and their banlist treatment of Branded Despia are definitely evidence of that!
