This deck utilizes the Fiendsmith engine to get access to D/D/D Wave High King Caesar before going into the Maliss combo, helping Maliss play without the prospect of Nibiru, The Primal Being eating your board.
The deck sacrifices access to Firewall Dragon Darkfluid - Neo Tempest Terahertz and a large amount of the extra deck to playing good generic cyberse extra deck monsters; however, you get access to the powerful Fiendsmith engine to help play more low to the ground. This, combined with a larger than normal Bystial package, you can out grind your opponents.
Ideally, you end on D/D/D Wave High King Caesar, Maliss Q Hearts of Crypter, set Maliss C GWC-06 to summon Maliss Q White Binder from the grave to banish cards in the graveyard.Alternatively, you can end on Fiendsmith's Desirae, and using the Fiendsmith's Sequence as link material to link climb into your Maliss link monsters.
Simul Archfiend is a neat card that can counter a spread of matchups better than Dimensional Barrier, preventing your opponent from summoning links, xyz or fusion. Dimension shifter tests the current meta and may be replaced, as this deck does not synergize well with it.
All in all, Maliss is a deck that suffers heavily to cards like Artifact Lancea and Nibiru, the Primal Being. In my opinion, Firewall Dragon Darkfluid - Neo Tempest Terahertz isn't strong enough for the meta. Maliss don't really have good normal summons other than Maliss P Dormouse, so having the Maliss field spell in hand is often times better than having the Maliss monsters in hand. Fiendsmith is a strong second engine in the deck, and going second, along with the Bystials, allows you to play into a board better.
