Berserker Kuriboh Edison

Welcome to The Berserker Kuriboh Trap for the Edison Format! This deck hides a terrifyingly lethal OTK strategy behind the face of the game's cutest monster. By utilizing a Lightsworn milling engine, we load our graveyard with massive threats and spring the ultimate combat trap on unsuspecting opponent.

Core Strategy

The main goal is to get the 4000 ATK -Darkness Neosphere into the graveyard as quickly as possible using -Charge of the Light Brigade, -Ryko, and -Lyla. Once in the GY, we summon a simple -Winged Kuriboh. When the opponent goes for the attack, we activate the trap -Staunch Defender to force ALL their monsters to attack the Kuriboh. During the Damage Step, we activate -Berserker Crush, banishing Neosphere to give Kuriboh 4000 ATK. The opponent's entire field crashes into an unexpected wall, usually resulting in an instant game over.

Key Interactions & Combos

• The Excavation Engine: Milling is risky, so we run 2x -Magical Stone Excavation. If our key spell (-Berserker Crush) is accidentally milled, we can easily recover it. The discard cost also helps us unbrick our hands by dumping drawn Neospheres or a -Necro Gardna into the GY.

• The Alternate Fiend Drop: If the Berserker combo isn't ready, -Darkness Neosphere is not entirely dead in hand. As long as we have a Fiend on the field (like -Tragoedia, -Gorz, -Sangan, or -Kuriboh), we can use Neosphere's own effect to Special Summon it from the hand when an attack is declared.

• The DARK Backup Plan: Because we are constantly loading the GY with DARK monsters (-Plaguespreader Zombie, -Sangan, Fiends, etc.), dropping a mid-game -Dark Armed Dragon is extremely easy and provides a massive secondary win condition.

• The Smoke Screen (Side Deck): Game 2 usually brings heavy GY hate like Macro Cosmos or Dimensional Fissure. Our Side Deck allows us to pivot entirely! We can transform into a Fairy Stun deck using -Archlord Kristya (easily summoned with our LIGHT fairies), or unleash the ultimate anime boss: -Winged Kuriboh LV10 with -Transcendent Wings.
