This is my Battlewasp list that I personally use. You can pop off pretty quick going second, but this list is usually a go first deck. If you want to replace some extra deck cards with more negates you can, but I personally didn't need it. I tested Cards like lightning storm and you can use it instead of raigeki and twin twisters if you have 2-3 of them. You want to search for your normal summon/tuner monsters if you didn't draw them in the start of the game and you want to make your synchco monsters (whatever it is you want to make at the time) and make a big board. If you're running out of plays, you can make Greatfly/Picofalena to link off to recycle your grave yard. This deck really doesn't have many "dead hands" per say because of the many resources you have in the deck. It's a pretty easy and basic deck to learn and really fun as well for beginners!
