So I've found this 'small' game called Magic: the Gathering (my wallet now hates me (('tis a wallent now D:)) not that it already didn't) which is the main reason why I haven't been working on anything here (instead ive been on moxfield great for magic) but I've gotten the yu-gi-oh itch, and saw the melffy support (when is it suships turn konami please I'm begging you), so now I'm here :P. Enjoy.
So melffys. If you're not already familliar, these cute critters bounce themselves from the field when they're targeted for an attack or when an opponent summons a monster - very on theme of playing hide and seek with a bunch of adorable animals - so our opponent's turn kinda becomes our turn too.
The amount of interaction that these smol l'il critters provide is INSANE. I've been goldfishing with some proxies and it seems like I do more on my opponents turn than they do. AND the turn 0 plays. (I'll get more into that later).
Before I ramble on about combos I'm going to take a minute to actually say what the melffys do because the combos are very fluid and you can activate the melffys at any time your opponent summons a monster. All main deck melffys (except Melffy Rabbys and Melffy Pinny) to, during your end phase, special summon themselves from the hand. All main deck melffys (except Melffy Pinny) activate when a monster is normal/specail summoned to your opponents field on either turn. Melffy Rabbys: special summon itself from the hand and fusion summon or when its normal/special summoned add a melffy monster from the deck to your hand and if you added a noraml monster you can special summon any number of beast monsters from your hand (not just melffys). Melffy Wally: returns to the hand summons two Melffys from the deck with different names. Melffy Catty: returns to the hand adds any one beast from your deck to the hand. Melffy Puppy: returns to the hand special summons any one level 2 or lower beast from the deck to the field. Melffy Fenny: returns to the hand special summons any one beast monster from your hand. Melffy Pony: returns to the hand returns a level 2 or lower beast from the grave to your hand.
I just like the archetype it's fun it also provides us with an extra omi negate with Primite Drillbeam and fun.
Blitzclique? I dunno maybe if you mess around with some of the cards maybe you could get around the 'only special summon from the hand' restricton eg Melffy Fenny special summoning a Kalantosa, Mystical Beast of the Forest that was added back by a Melffy Pony? (I may have janked too close to the sun with this one)
SPRIGHT!!!!! Both archetypes ARE level 2s and people have mushed them together before. However in this deck Sprights would be the supporting engine like in the Spright Fur hire decks a couple years back.
Anyway it's time to leave for another 2 years until konami releases suship support and I inevitably come back to talk about that. BYE :3 (I'm joking I'll try to be more active)
