So Ancient Gears have 2 Level 9 monsters in their archetype: Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon and Ancient Gear Megaton Golem. You can tie me to a chair, electrocute me, do whatever to me, but you cannot make me even try to Summon Ancient Gear Megaton Golem. It's just an extremely worse Chaos Ancient Gear Giant that uses 3 Ancient Gears for material instead of 4 and it floats into Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem when destroyed by your opponent's effect. Like Chaos Giant is a win condition and Megaton Golem is just bad. And besides, Reactor Dragon is a much easier-to-access Level 9 monster in the Deck. To supplement Reactor Dragon, we are playing Geartown and Ancient Gear Catapult. Geartown can Special Summon an Ancient Gear monster from hand, Deck, or GY when it is destroyed and sent to the GY. Catapult has 2 effects. If you control no monsters, you can activate it from hand, targeting and destroying 1 face-up card you control, and if you do, you Special Summon 1 Ancient Gear monster from Deck ignoring its Summoning Conditions. And if it is in GY, you can banish it to target 1 face-up card you control, and destroy it, Special Summoning 1 Ancient Gear Token to your field. Now, you can only use 1 effect per turn and only once that turn, but for the most part, that's completely fine. Now the real magic happens when you draw both Geartown and Catapult. You can activate Geartown and destroy it with Catapult. The Chain resolves and Catapult Special Summons an Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon from Deck, and on a new Chain, Geartown Special Summons another Reactor Dragon from anywhere, giving you 2 Level 9 monsters to go into Aggregator to send Herald and so forth. You don't need to draw both Geartown and Catapult in the same hand, but we are playing a lot of cards to access both. And hey, we aren't playing World Legacy Monstrosity in this Deck which is a plus as it is an unsearchable card that we don't need to worry about drawing in this Deck.
For the monsters: 3 Prediction Princess Tarotrei, 1 Prediction Princess Tarotreith, and 3 Prediction Princess Bibliomuse. You know the drill: Tarotrei can Quick Effect flip a monster on field face-up or face-down and she can Special Summon a Flip Monster from hand or GY face-down during the End Phase. Tarotreith can be either Ritual Summoned or Special Summoned via Tarotrei's End Phase effect. On flip, she can Special Summon a Flip Monster from Deck face-down, and she can Quick Effect flip any number of your monsters either face-up or face-down. Bibliomuse can Summon herself back from GY if she was tributed and sent there. On flip, she can add a Prediction Princess monster other than herself and a Ritual Spell from Deck to hand, and while she is face-up on field, your Ritual Monsters gain targeting and destruction protection from your opponent's effects. We are only playing 1 Deus-X Krawler. You don't need to play 2 as we don't have Monstrosity in this Deck as we aren't relying on it and since the Attributes of our monsters don't work with Monstrosity. After it has been flipped face-up, it negates the activated monster effects of monsters on your opponent's side of the field and if it is destroyed on field, you can add a Level 9 monster from Deck to hand with a different Type and Attribute than it. If you want, you can also play 1 Pot of the Forbidden as another Flip option or if you draw Deus-X in your starting hand. Just cut a Pre-Preparation of Rites or a Clockwork Night. 2 Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon. It's effects literally do not matter as you are only using it as a Level 9 Ancient Gear that you can Special Summon via Geartown and Ancient Gear Catapult. And it's okay if you draw 1 of them as Geartown can Summon it from hand, Deck, or GY, but you need at least 1 in Deck as Catapult only Special Summons from Deck. 3 Flying Pegasus Railroad Stampede. On Normal or Special Summon, it can target and Special Summon an EARTH Machine monster from your GY in Defense with its effects negated. And it can also target 1 other face-up monster you control, and change its Level to the Level of the targeted monster or make the targeted monster's Level become its Level. But you cannot attack this turn except with Xyz Monsters. Pegasus can Special Summon back an Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon that is in your GY and target it to make itself a Level 9, giving you 2 Level 9 monsters to go into Aggregator. You may remember this card from Rank 10 Trains, and here, it functionally accomplishes the same thing to go into a Rank 9 Xyz Monster. Flying Pegasus can be used Turn 1 if you send Reactor Dragon from Deck to GY via Foolish Burial, which we are playing, or we can discard it for the GY effect of Clockwork Night. However, it has a lot of application on following turns. For example, you can Normal Summon it, bring back a Reactor Dragon, make Pegasus a Level 9, and go into either Infinitrack Earth Slicer or Laevateinn, Generaider Boss of Shadows. Earth Slicer can then detach 2 Xyz Materials to pop 2 cards on the field, attach with Earth Slicer, attach the monster it destroys by battle to it, and overaly into a live Zeus. Laevateinn, can tribute itself to Special Summon Jormungandr, Generaider Boss of Eternity from Extra Deck and attach 2 cards on field or in either GY to it as Xyz Material. Now, you can't attack this turn except with Machine Xyz Monsters, but you can just make Earth Slicer to clear some of the board and attack as it is a Machine Xyz Monster. And for our final monster, 3 Planet Pathfinder. You can Tribute it to search a Field Spell, which is always Geartown in this Deck. You have no Normal Summon in this Deck. You could argue that Flying Pegasus Railroad Stampede is a Normal Summon, but it doesn't have application unless you have Reactor Dragon in GY. And we don't need to necessarily play Diviner of the Herald or Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands because we are playing Pre-Preparation of Rites and it is relatively easy to make Mereologic Aggregator in this Deck without relying on World Legacy Monstrosity. Therefore, we are playing Planet Pathfinder to have more ways to search for Geartown. And since it Tributes itself from field to search a Field Spell, this leaves you with no monsters on field, allowing you to activate Ancient Gear Catapult from hand.
For Spell/Traps: 1 Instant Fusion which gets you to Master of Ham. 3 Pot of Prosperity. 3 Ancient Gear Catapult. As said before, if you control no monsters, you can target a face-up card you control and destroy it to Special Summon an Ancient Gear monster from Deck ignoring its Summoning Conditions. And in GY, you can banish it to destroy a face-up card you control to Special Summon an Ancient Gear Token which is a Level 1 EARTH Machine ATK 0/DEF 0 token. This goes along with our 3 copies of Geartown which can Special Summon an Ancient Gear monster from your hand, Deck, or GY if it is destroyed and sent to GY. 1 Terraforming as another way to search for Geartown. 1 Foolish Burial which has a couple of applications. It can send a Prediction Princess Ritual Monster from Deck to GY as Underworld Ritual of Prediction can Ritual Summon from GY. And you can send an Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon as Flying Pegasus Railroad Stampede can Special Summon it back from GY, copying its Level, and going into a Rank 9. Also, Geartown can Summon from GY, so it's all good. 2 Foolish Burial Goods which can send a Spell/Trap from Deck to GY. Our targets are Ancient Gear Catapult and Clockwork Night. We are playing 2 Clockwork Night which we are only using for its GY effect which allows you to banish it can discard a card to add an EARTH Machine monster from your Deck to hand. This searches you either Flying Pegasus Railroad Stampede to possibly make a Rank 9 or Planet Pathfinder in order to search for Geartown. 3 Underworld Ritual of Prediction which can Ritual Summon a Prediction Princess Ritual Monster from hand or GY and you can banish it from GY during the Standby Phase to Special Summon a non-Ritual Prediction Princess from Deck face-down. 2 Prediction Ritual which can only be used to Ritual Summon Tarotrei and you can banish it from GY except the turn it was sent there to search for a Prediction Princess monster. And finally, 3 Pre-Preparation of Rites.
Extra Deck: 1 Master of Ham which Special Summons a Flip Monster from Deck face-down on Fusion Summon. 2 Herald of the Arc Light which searches a Ritual Monster or Ritual Spell if sent to GY. 1 Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder. 1 Super Starslayer TY-PHON - Sky Crisis. 1 Infinitrack Earth Slicer. 3 Mereologic Aggregator. On Xyz Summon, it can send a monster from Extra Deck to GY. And you can target monsters in your GY up to the number of its materials, detach the same number of materials, and attach those monsters from GY to it. 1 Laevateinn, Generaider Boss of Shadows and 1 Jormungandr, Generaider Boss of Eternity. 1 Nine-Lives Cat which gives your monsters that were Special Summoned from the GY with targeting protection from your opponent's effects and you can detach 1 Xyz Material to either target a Level 9 monster in your GY or a monster in your opponent's GY and Special Summon it. 1 Underworld Goddess of the Closed World. 1 S:P Little Knight. 1 I:P Masquerena. 1 Gravity Controller.
Side Deck: 3 Contact "C". 3 Forbidden Droplet. 2 Lightning Storm. 1 Harpie's Feather Duster. 3 Evenly Matched, and 3 Infinite Impermanence.
