Altergeist is a midrange deck based on female mythical creatures with names based on computing terminology, and focused on Link Summoning and Trap Cards. Altergeist do not have a way to execute their full combo with 1 card, but have plenty of 2-card combos. The typical endboard, if you open Altergeist Marionetter and Altergeist Meluseek, consists of 2 negates, access to a bounce on the opponent's turn, a reborn and a steal. If you only open Altergeist Meluseek though, you can still end on Herald of the Arc Light. The deck has quite a lot of room for non-engine, so I've opted for handtraps, Rivalry of Warlords and Secret Village of the Spellcasters. The handtraps give you the option to interact with your opponent if they go first and the floodgates are, well, floodgates. I'd recommend Altergeist to players that enjoy versatile decks.
