Just to put things straight: I LOVE Virtual World, and I think that it's very fun to play with. Despite a few flaws (S/T and Monster removal, disruptive effects), it has a lot of strengths in it that I've been looking for in a deck for quite some time now. Example: every single Virtual World normal deck monster (with the exeption of Nyannyan) can Special Summon themselves from the hand AND mill a card. The Spells and the Trap have great effects (even if I wish Qinglong's effect was able to be activated on your opponent's turn), with the Trap being a great recycler on the field and and both Spells pulling out great search effects. There were a few issues with consistency I had to fix, but overall this deck is amazing! (Notice: I've been waiting for this archetype to be released in the TCG since I saw it release in the OCG. Also notice: I am biased towards Wyrm- and/or Psychic-based archetypes).
Now onto the part that people actually care about: how to play with this deck. Typically, you want to start with at 1 Virtual World Spell (typically Kauwloon) and at least 1 (but preferably 2) Virtual World monsters. I also know this isnt necessarily gonna happen every time. So, enter the Foolish Spells. With Foolish Burial you'll want to send Shaddoll Beast to the GY for a draw. With Foolish Burial Goods you'll want to mill Qinglong in order to banish it for a search (notice you'll have to discard a card). Then, you use the Virtual World monsters effects (except for Nyannyan, of course) to Special Summon themselves. If you need to mill a monster, mill Nyannyan, since she's the only one with a GY effect. If you mill a Spell, Qinglong. And there's only 1 option for Trap, so don't even ask.
As far as Extra Deck monsters go, I typically go for Kyubi first, because he can revive himself and has a good disruption effect. Next, you'll want an Xyz monster (typically Longlong or Fanfan) so that you can get Zeus out during the 2nd Main Phase if you're going second. If you're going first, aim for Jiujiu (and get him out first so you're material isn't banished) or, if possible, Shaddoll Winda (this would require two Shaddoll monsters and Shaddoll Fusion in your hand for a first-turn summon, though). Or you could get Longlong, since he'll basically oust any future Ash Blossoms and such. If you want to go for Trishula, though, that's fine by me. Especially first turn, that could be pretty devesting. Maybe.
Of course, as far as singular boss monsters go, you have True King of All Calamities, Kyubi and Zeus. If you get all three of these out... uh... I don't want to be facing you.
Hopefully you found this explaination helpful. Feel free to modify and/or comment on this deck (I'm always looking for pointers on deck building). Also, I know there's only 6 hand traps. I just felt that it was more consistant without the Nibirus I had in here previously. And I know I said last time I'd get both a Pendulum Fusion and Insect deck uploaded. That didn't happen, obviously. The Pendulum deck wound up becoming Dogmatika-Shaddoll and I never got around to the Insects. If you want me to do those, let me know in a comment. Thank you!
