1st Place Undefeated locals Mikanko Kaiju

This deck performed beautifully.  4-0 through four rounds of swiss to take first place undefeated.  Performed beautifully against Traptrix, Branded, Flunder and Labrynth.

This deck was built to counter most decks, can go first or second.  Initially, was thinking of going extra deck plays with Kashtira, but put them in the side.  Extra deck ultimately is just Extrav fodder-- you absolutely don't need it.

Mikanko rivalry is clutch to put another card back on your mikanko to keep them from being destroyed by card effects and battle or equipping an enemy monster with Arabesque or Double-edged sword for OTK.  Arabesque is also just insane advantage.

Mikanko Kagura, the ritual spell, is perhaps the most useless card on the list and could be swapped for a second Great Mikanko Ceremony, which does a lot more for you with its banish effect to send a mikanko card to grave.  Also, don't sleep on the mikanko rivalry graveyard effect to banish itself and add an equip spell from grave to hand.

Ohime can win games by herself, as her quick effect allows her to grab an equip spell out of the grave to equip to a monster on the field.  If you have two mikanko names on board with equip spells, you can kaiju your opponent, swing twice and then use Ohime's quick effect in battle to equip a reflection rondo in grave to equip to the kaiju to snatch-steal and swing for game.

Going second, side in Lightning Storm, Interrupted Kaiju slumber, extra mikanko names if you need them.  Hidden Armory never came up, kashtira never came up, all could be replaced with better sides, maybe evenly matched or droll and lock bird.  Diviner is great for sending Herald to search Ohime which starts your plays, but going first it's nicer to set up floodgates.  3 Ohime and 3 Preperation of rites gets you where you need to be going incredibly consistently, prep is also good ash bait.  Lightning storm was clutch versus Lab.  Main deck feather duster was godlike for it too.

Anti banish can be incredible versus flunder and branded, TCBOO completely shuts down flunder plays.  Hu-Li when equipped with an equip spell makes ALL your mikanko cards untargetable for card effects, including the equip spells which shuts down a ton of labrynth plays.

This deck can go first or second and can content with meta decks.
