Branded Dragonmaids
Deck Primer
Hi, Grayewick the Fusionist here, back with another Fusion list (surprise, surprise), Branded Dragonmaids.
"B-but Grayewick, Dragonmaids have a lot of irrelevant Attributes, didn't you tell people to not play engines with irrelevant Attributes with Branded? Reeeee!!!"
Yes, Dragonmaids do have non-LIGHT and non-DARK monsters, but you're forgetting the most important part. They're all Dragon-types. Not only is Albaz a heavy counter against Dragon-type centered decks, but he also is a Dragon and is also synergistic with them. There's always room for reasonable exceptions.
"Why play this deck?"
Well it's simple, really. Branded is a Fusion heavy deck, and Dragonmaids at its core is also a Fusion deck, technically speaking, so... yeah. Oh, also Dragonmaid Sheou and House Dragonmaid are LIGHT Fusions, so it's really good for the reasons that I'll discuss later further on the list. I'm honestly tempted to make a Dragonmaid Shaddolls list now that I think about it but anyway, the list.
The Main Deck:
Monsters
Before everything else, at this point I gotta explain first that my ratios for a standard splashable Branded engine for all of my lists, unless exceptions have to be made which I would most definitely state, are going to be:
• x2 Fallen of Albaz & Aluber the Jester of Despia, x1 Incredible Ecclesia, Dramaturge, & Ad Libitum for the monsters.
• x3 Branded Fusion & Branded Opening with/without x1 Branded In Red for the Spells, depending on whether you want to use Guardian Chimera or not.
• x1 Branded Exile with/without x2 Branded Retribution for the Traps.
If you wanna know what they do, just hover over their names and take a short read, so after this all I'm going to be explaining are only my non-Branded card ratios.
• The Dragon waifus (Dragonmaid Lorpar, Dragonmaid Ernus, Chamber Dragonmaid, Kitchen Dragonmaid, Parlor Dragonmaid, & Nurse Dragonmaid) - The other half of this strategy. Their effects are, if you're not aware:
Spells
• Dragonmaid Changeover - A searchable Fusion Spell is always great, I'm actually considering bumping this up to two, just for insurance against banishing effects.
• Dragonmaid Hospitality - Allows you to not only Special Summon a Dragonmaid monster from your hand, saving your Normal Summon, but also lets you send another Dragonmaid monster from your Deck to the GY for set up.
Traps
• Dragonmaid Tidying - A searchable targeting but non-destruction removal, albeit a bit slow. It also gives you recovery for the grind games.
• Dragonmaid Downtime - A searchable half-search card and half-Spell/Trap "removal". It's a Continuous Trap, so be mindful when using it.
The Extra Deck:
• x2 Dragonmaid Sheou & House Dragonmaid - Your Dragonmaid boss monsters. If I had two more Extra Deck slots, I would definitely play one more copy of each of them.
• The First Darklord - Staple for Branded at this point, also because of Archlord Kristya, Artifact Lancea, & Artifact Scythe, since he doesn't negate their effects.
• Predaplant Dragostapelia - Because I'm also playing Starving Venom Predator Fusion Dragon.
• Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon - Understandable. I'm not debating with this one.
Final Thoughts:
Honestly, I don't really have anything much else to say but, this deck works, possibly even better than I expected before testing. Also, the The First Darklord + Artifact Scythe interaction, I just realized it while making this list because I forgot for a second that Scythe was an Artifact card, and so is Artifact Lancea, so if I can do it with Lancea, surely I could also do it with Scythe, and I was right. As per usual, if you have any questions or thoughts, feel free to express them down in the comments and I'll respond to them as soon as I possibly can.

- Lorpar - It's an Infinite Impermanence at a cost of just discarding itself. It also has an on-field card destruction protection while you control ANY Fusion monster.
- Ernus - Has a Quick Effect to Special Summon any Level 4 or lower Dragonmaid monster from your hand. Shares the same protection as Lorpar, as per every Dragonmaids' Dragon forms.
- Chamber - Searches any Dragonmaid Spell/Trap, most likely either Changeover or Tidying.
- Kitchen - Searches any Dragonmaid monster, but also makes you discard a Dragonmaid monster. Just a one of because of her Attribute.
- Parlor - Sends any Dragonmaid card from your Deck to the GY. Just a one of for the same reasons as Kitchen's.
- Nurse - Special Summons a Level 4 or lower Dragonmaid monster in your GY, except a copy herself although it targets so, bummer. Also just a one of for obvious reasons.
