Battery Lawnmowing Structure
Credit to Tannerisdaman for Deck and Strategy submission.
I have recently been playing around making Lawnmowing (Grass is always tastier) decks for a little bit now and this has been one of my favorites.
When trying to make a modernized batteryman deck, I realized that the archetype had a LOT of recycle cards including a call of the haunted that summons two monsters at once. I started thinking that instead of relying on searching for the cards i need, I could just dump them all into the graveyard and use their recycle cards to put them into my hand.
For the most part, this plays exactly how a normal batteryman deck would play, the only difference being that you don’t rely as much on searching for the cards you need as far dumping them in the graveyard and adding them back into the hand.
This deck really wants to go second, as the deck really doesn’t have much in the way of physical defense. Your best bet going first would be to summon a 9 volt (if you have it), search for what you need (usually a charger, but if you already have one, a fuel cell), then pass. You will more times than not have some sort of trap card to summon him from grave (as he dies during your end phase), allowing you to search during your opponents turn and have a 2000 wall on board. If your lucky and got a Lawnmowing first turn, you will likely have some battle protection in the graveyard. If that is the case, summon 9 volt on your opponents end phase. Next turn tribute 9 volt for charger, summon 9 volt, search fuel cell, summon any fuel cells in hand, and do what you can. That is general idea of the batteryman deck.
Going second, you don’t have to hold backs. To speed up the deck, I’ve added Brilliant fusion to the deck. This allows you to summon Charger right away, either using Seraphanite as tribute fodder or summoning 9-volt, searching for a charger (if you didn’t already have one) or a fuel cell. You would then either tribute 9 volt summoning charger, then special summoning fuel cell, or tributing seraph and summoning another 9 volt for a rank 4 play. I’ve also added Eidos to the deck to allow you to go into charger on your first turn as well.
|Combo 1||Prioritize banishing other industrial strengths for Industrial Strength’s summoning condition/effect, as there is no way to summon them in the Graveyard|
|Combo 2||9 volt is destroyed during your end phase, meaning that one summoned on your opponents turn will not be destroyed during their end phase|
