On July 12, 2023, select official tournament stores will be hosting a release event for 25th Anniversary Booster packs. These events vary from in-store tournaments to remote giveaways, but will all feature a chance to obtain an exclusive playmat.

These special re-release packs include Legend of Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Metal Raiders, Spell Ruler, Pharaoh's Servant, and Invasion of Chaos. The packs will be identifiable via a "25th anniversary" logo on the front.
