First YCS Build Idea and Help

Hi. I am planning to go to my first YCS in October and am trying to build a deck. I do not particularly like meta decks really but am willing to give one a try, but I really like the idea of a non archetype based warrior deck or I do like Cyber Dragons and CyberDark Dragon builds with my own little flare with counter traps and other negates. If I were to build the Cyber Dragon or CyberDark Dragon builds I was thinking of side-decking into earth machines or something that would confuse my opponent. Any ideas or other strategies that might work would be greatly appreciated.
