The main strategy is to use Amano Iwato (preferably), Ra and Kaiju to stop problematic monster effects, then use True Draco's Spell to summon True Draco monsters and gains card advantage.
As the deck has no 1 card combo, unrelated cards (handtraps, for example) have to be cut for consistency. However, almost every board can be clearer somehow. if you draw the right cards.
One thing worth noting though, as the deck combos are all 2-3 cards combos, together with Card of Demise's discard effect, you will not have any luxury to run any handtraps, so don't bother trying. If your opponent runs any FTK deck it's gg.
Tips for playing the deck:
- If you want to activate The Monarchs Stormforth in opp's turn, chain it AFTER True Draco's traps, or else the effect of being able to tribute opp's monster will not apply to the traps' tribute summon.
- Remember to chain True Draco's searches to opp's effect, then chain The Monarchs Erupt as chain 3. This way you can search for your cards while negate opp's monster effects at the same time.
- Amano Iwato will stop every monster activation effect. Always summon it first.
- Try to tribute summon your True Draco BEFORE activating any Pot cards or Card of Demise or Dragonic Diagram. This way even if your spell is Ashed you can still at least search for a True Draco card.
- When you do not have a good hand and have Dragonic Diagram activated, do not hesitate to destroy a True Draco's monster on the field for True Draco Heritage. With your 2,3 cards draw you can get Disciples of the True Dracophoenix to extend your draws and your combo further.
