Key Card Rulings/ Tips:
Megalosmasher X
- Normal summoning can Proc Pacifis
- cannot benefit from Sea Stealth's 2nd effect to destroy monsters
- can be searched with fossil dig
Phantasm Spiral Dragon
Card of Demise:
- Can be activated in main Phase 2 after dealing damage to your opponent
- Can be used to send Pacifis to the grave as a backup for set sea stealth
- Activation conflicts with pot of extravagance and prosperity but not duality or Pacifis
- Be careful not to clog up backrow for more draws
Starlight Road:
- Used to protect backrow from cards like lightning storm or feather duster
- Be careful summoning Stardust Dragon after negating because it can disrupt phantasm spiral cards which require all monsters to be vanilla
- cannot stop Evenly matched
Macro Cosmos:
- Can be used to bait an ash blossom but utterly useless against us
- be careful with activating cards like phantasm spiral battle or Power after Macro Cosmos because they have a graveyard effect
Pot of Prosperity
- Can be activated anytime during the main phase unlike pot of Extravagance
- Use this card to search key cards in deck based on matchup and/or board presence
Vanity's emptiness
- Cannot be protected from self-destruction using sea stealth attack's 1st effect
Phantasm Spiral Grip
- Use this card instead of spiral wave to get more damage or summon a Phantasm Spiral Dragon during the Battle Phase to beat over high attack monsters
- Can bring out Phantasm Spiral Dragon with 3400 attack from hand, deck or graveyard
- Conflicts with pot of duality and card of demise
Phantasm Spiral Wave
- Control card which should be used to make your opponent discard a card of their choice
- Works well with Macro Cosmos
- Can be used to bring out Phantasm Spiral Dragon from hand, deck or graveyard
- Conflicts with pot of duality and card of demise
Phantasm Spiral Battle
- can be searched by Pacifis
- can be activated during either's players turn from the hand if Pacifis is out
- used to disrupt opponent's key plays
- can be used defensively or offensively to equip all equip cards on the field to 1 monster (most opponents don't read this effect)
Phantasm Spiral Power
- can be searched by Pacifis
- can be activated during either's players turn from the hand if Pacifis is out
- used to disrupt opponent's key plays
- can be used defensively or offensively to equip 1 equip card from hand or graveyard to 1 monster (most opponents don't read this effect)
Metaverse
- use this to activate Pacifis from Deck or add to hand (to thin out deck)
Fists of the unrivaled Tenyi
- Omni-negate for problem cards like evenly-matched or field clears
- can be used to summon Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon which is a normal monster
Sea Stealth Attack
- Takes a bit of time to setup as it has to be chained in Master Duel because of the way priority works
- inactive (useless) without Pacifis
- can be used to activate Pacifis from Grave or Hand when activated
- the activated Pacifis will be on a separate chain if chaining Sea Stealth and won't trigger Pacifis
- can be used to protect all face up spells and traps if banishing a water monster
- Spiral tokens generated with Pacifis will be able to destroy all other monsters even before battling if sea stealth is "active"
- attacking with a token with an "active" sea stealth will be considered destroyed by a trap effect
- if the opponent's monster can't be destroyed by spell or trap effects, the monsters will battle normally and tokens will be susceptible to destruction by battle
- can be used to banish Megalosmasher X to protect it for a turn especially if spiral token is out as opponent's monsters usually can't kill them by battle
- Megalosmasher doesn't get the destroy effect of Sea Stealth
- spiral tokens can used as tribute for 1st effect to protect cards but won't return during end phase as token's cannot be banished
- if opponent activates a card to destroy face up spells or traps, chain 1st effect to banish a spiral token which will replace itself due to Pacifis
- Banish monsters or tokens equipped with spell cards to clear up space for backrow
- equip spells can be re-equipped with phantasm spiral power from graveyard
- wait for opponent to destroy Pacifis before activating in order to be able to re-activate from the graveyard
Pacifis the Phantasm City
- "Boss" Field Spell
- Generates Phantasm Spiral Tokens on opponent's effect activation (2k att, 2k Def, Level 8 Water Wyrm)
- generates tokens whenever you don't have one (even if you tribute it for another effect or it gets destroyed)
- Searches Phantasm Spiral cards Once Per Turn on normal monster normal or special summon
- Protect at all Costs
Best Combos:
- Pacifis + Sea Stealth: once per turn free protect all face up flood gates while having recurring monsters which can destroy any monster which doesn't have spell/ trap protection
- Emptiness + Macro Cosmos: no special summons and cards on your field are banished so emptiness doesn't destroy itself.
Extra deck isn't very important. Just fodder for Extravagence. Only cards that matter are Blue eyes Ultimate Dragon For fists of the unrivaled Tenyi, Stardust Dragon for Starlight Road and LANphorhynchus if you need to get rid of a kaiju for a vanilla monster.
