This Deck focuses on gaining Monsters for Fusion Materials, and using certain Monsters and Equip Spells to increase
There are no Field Spells in Metal Raiders, so players will rely on Monsters that increase the Attack points of certain Attribute Monsters. In this Deck, Wind and Dark Attribute Monsters are prevalent, so cards like Bladefly and Witch's Apprentice are used to boost the Attack points of Wind and Dark Monsters respectively, including their own. They are the primary reason I chose Thousand Dragon and Labyrinth Tank for Fusion Mosnters.
Thunder Dragon is here for Fusion Summoning Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon, which is the strongest Monster in the Set after Black Skull Dragon. You can discard a Thunder Dragon to add 2 Thunder Dragons to your hand, so a third Thunder Dragon is in the Side Deck just in case.
Summoned Skull is an excellent 1-Tribute Monster that can attack over 2000-Defense point Monsters. You can even use Change of Heart to get one of your opponent's monsters and tribute it for Summoned Skull. Use Witch of the Black Forest to add it to your hand if need be.
Elegant Egotist is to get either Harpie Lady or Harpie Lady Sisters onto the field, provided Harpie Lady is already on the field. It's a fairly clunky way of getting more Monsters onto the field, but it's still a decent way to gain field presence.
Sangan and Witch of the Black Forest don't need any explanation, aside from their quantities in this Deck. There are more Monsters with lower Defense points than Attack points, so Witch has more uses here than Sangan, although both are quite useful in any deck. The main purpose I have for these two is to search for and add Fusion Materials to the hand. Of course, Polymerization isn't guaranteed to be in your hand from the first draw, but it's good to have them on hand regardless.
Big Eye is so you get a few of the cards you may need as you see fit, as its effect lets you see the next 5 cards you'll draw and place them back on top of the Deck in any order you want. This is especially useful if you need Fusion Materials and don't have either Sangan or Witch in your hand.
Fake Trap and Solemn Judgment are the only outs for Heavy Storm. Heavy Storm destroys all Spells and Traps on the field, but you can use Fake Trap to take the place of any or all Trap Cards you control that would be destroyed by Heavy Storm. Unfortunately, this means that you Spell Cards will be destroyed, but you can always use the effect of Magician of Faith to get back a couple, provided both copies aren't in the Graveyard.
Stim Pack is a good way to boost any one of your Monster's Attack points by 700, with the caveat that their attack points decrease by 200 during each of your Standby Phases. Sword of Deepseated is also good for a quick attack boost, but since its effect puts onto the top of your deck when it's destroyed, one copy is enough.
Paralyzing Potion is to stop any of your opponent's non-Machine Monsters from attacking. Germ Infection is in the Side Deck because it fulfills a similar purpose, only it decreases your opponent's non-Machine Monster's Attack by 300 during each of their Standby Phases.
I made this Deck for fun, so I didn't take into account any banned cards like Change of Heart and Heavy Storm. I just used how ever many I thought would be best.
