Welcome back to this retelling of Orcust history! We last left off on the craziness that was Knightmare Mermaid post Bardiche ban.

Orcust, the bunch of musical instruments we have all grown to love, is an archetype of DARK Machines. The whole playstyle revolves around utilizing the GY and having a lot of monsters on the field to Link Summon. From the “Bombgirsu pass” strategy of yore to the I:P boards of today, players have adapted the deck as the meta changed over time.

The Orcust deck is still a good deck to play competitively. In this article, I will explain why it is still present in the competitive metagame.

If you have been playing Yu-Gi-Oh for more than a few months, you’ve probably heard the term “errata” tossed about here and there. If the first thing that comes to mind when you hear this word is “What?”, well, you’ve come to the right place.

For this article, we will be taking it a bit easier. There are only 9 traps currently on the list. Therefore, I will just be going through this section alphabetically, since there are so little.

Welcome back! In the last article I did, I discussed the Main Deck Monsters that Konami banned. For this section, we will focus on the Extra Deck monsters. I will be splitting up the article into the four main sections: Fusion, Link, Synchro, and Xyz monsters.

If you are a player who participates in tournaments, you are most likely familiar with the Forbidden and Limited Lists. Every few months or so, Konami releases changes to these lists in order to have the game continue evolving. Konami may move cards between the different sections (Forbidden, Limited, and Semi-Limited), add new cards, or remove some from the list entirely. The section of the list that is most interesting is the cards that are banned.

It is the day of the official release of the newest Yu-Gi-Oh! booster set. You head over to your closest OTS to purchase a box for yourself, smelling the instant plus. After shelling out the $65 for the booster box, you sit down at the closest table to break that bad boy open, the smell of freshly-opened cards already in your nostrils.

Whenever you look at different cards, do you ever notice a monster that seems to be appearing all the time? In the artworks of Mistake, Shared Ride, Mistaken Arrest, and Mistaken Accusation, you can see Sangan on all of those cards. This is not laziness on the part of the Konami design team; in fact, this is part of something called LORE.
