It seems weird to start a tourney report series involving Goat Format, considering I haven’t been part of any major official tournaments. But over the course of playing, I found a couple of instances, while hysterical at times, are worthy enough for an article.

Goat Format has been extensively revisited and analysed. I personally believe that no card can really be considered a Tech Choice at this point of time now, simply because of how much the format has grown. A card or two may catch you by surprise from time to time, especially for players transiting to playing online, and meet with decks or a larger variety. But I doubt any card will have a significant impact and be effective enough for it to be long-lasting. Any card of that calibre would have been common knowledge by now.

It has been a refreshing experience for me at the Yugioh Open Tournament Singapore 2017 two weeks ago. In one of the pinoeer formats with Link Monsters, I got to witness plenty of techs and admirable card choices.

Zoodiac-Invoked is one of my favourite variants of Zoodiac. The Invoked theme does the heavy lifting, while the Zoodiac component farms for resources. While the OCG has not been kind to the deck, I am hoping that other Fusion lovers would find some success with it in the TCG.
