The world of boss monsters is ever-changing. Bosses are usually reserved for higher-level monsters and are present in every Extra Deck mechanic. In the case of links, the most iconic ones are Link 4. As the most generic Extra Deck mechanic, Link 4’s are the easiest to summon across all decks, and thus lead to a decision when deck building. Which should I choose?

At first, Lunalight was just another anime deck. Released in Shining Victories in mid-2016, it was just a “harmless” fusion-based OTK deck. Like many others before, it seemed fated to live a quiet life. It would have become a part of history for only dedicated fans to remember. But that was not the case.

Gladiator Beasts are an archetype that debuted in the set Gladiator’s Assault in late 2007. They are based on anthropomorphized animals adjusting to an ancient Roman gladiatorial theme, as is referenced in their names. The archetype is comprised for the most part beast-warriors or winged-beasts, but include other Types and encompass every Attribute.
